Elizabeth Suzann

I realize I am a tad late in posting this, but I haven't had a second to sit down at the computer in the last 2 weeks 2 months! So, most of you probably saw my link about this on Facebook, or saw hints of it on Instagram, but as of last week it's official: I have begun selling my handwoven fabric to none other than Nashville designer Elizabeth Suzann. She launched her Spring/Summer lookbook last week and 3 of the pieces are made with my fabric! If you haven't already, you should definitely check it out, and she's offering a pre-order until the beginning of April. One of the pieces, the Lee Crop Top in Ivory is already sold out, but we've added a few more in stock, so get them before they're gone! We have a few more surprises up our sleeves, so be sure to stay tuned ;)

Recent Work

After receiving the email announcing the upcoming date of Porter Flea I realized I haven't gotten myself caught up with the whole picture taking and posting of my more recent work. I had every intention of wasting away January and most of February on the couch watching movies and surfing the web for ideas for Spring products leaving me plenty of time to get things posted. January filled up in the blink of an eye and I found myself in a weaving frenzy. I have no idea where the time went but it's almost March and applications open Monday. This year has been a whirlwind so far, but I got a chance to do some computer work today and get those photos uploaded. None of this is on Etsy yet- I am terrible at writing descriptions, but hopefully it will be soon! New York on Film

I realize that in my effort to catch up with blogging, posting these will be out of order- but I just got the last roll of film from our New York trip in the mail and I was really excited to share the photos. I also have all the digital photos we took sitting in iPhoto waiting to be sorted through as well- not to mention countless other albums I have yet to post (i.e. the Kinfolk workshop in November, Porter Flea, and Christmas) but we'll get to those later.

I haven't had much time, or reason, to pull out my medium format camera lately so I decided to pack it to take on our trip to New York. With the extra weight and accessories that accompany it, I needed to make the most of it. I am really happy with the majority of the photos. The few that didn't turn out very well were entirely a result of my framing or forgetting to wind the film, thus resulting in a double exposure.
