London Days 1 & 2

Roger and I took a holiday for the last week and a half and headed to London and Paris to visit his parents (who are living in London for the year). We had a lot of fun and took a ton of pictures. I am still working on narrowing them down day by day but I figured I'd get to posting! Day 1 was spent traveling. We left the house at about 6:30 in the morning Wednesday, took 2 flights before finally landing at Heathrow at 6:02AM Thursday. Kay and Sheila came to pick us up and we headed straight to the Thames Riviera where they are renting a houseboat from Sheila and her husband. Dexter took the day off and after a delicious mocha apiece we headed to Waterloo. They walked us all over London Central before finally stopping for fish and chips. After lunch we hit a few vintage stores and Spitalfields market (which was CRAZY expensive!) Roger found a sweet pair of leather and fur gloves and I scored an emerald green silk blouse. After that, we headed back to the boat for an early night because jet lag was taking its toll.
