Mom's Day

Since I was already practically in Nashville for the party, my mom decided to drive down and meet me since we hadn't hung out in quite a while. We went antiquing, to Anthropologie, to the TACA art fair, and got just got caught up with each others lives.
Antiquing yielded a GREAT find. 2 1950's era barrel chairs in great condition! We had to rearrange our entire living room and they look great!
Here is a close up of the upholstery:
And a closeup of the back:
Also, since my birthday is coming up (Oct 13th) and I won't get to see my mom again before then, she gave me an early birthday gift! I have been ogling these in her kitchen for some time now so she passed them down to me (filled and everything!)
A great mint green sugar container
And, she and my dad have been hunting for this vintage hot air balloon pyrex for me for some time now. I got a little itty bowl and a larger mixing bowl, both in wonderful condition and ready to be incorporated into my kitchen! I love them!! My parents aren't bad either :)
