I have been weaving like mad to build up inventory for the Porter Flea Market on December 1st. On Monday I managed to weave 12 tea towels and 8 napkins and on Tuesday I managed to do another 18 napkins. Roger has been working like crazy as well. They have been deploying a new product that requires the 500+ sites they manage to be locked out so it has to be done late at night. He had to go in at 10:30 on Monday night until nearly 2:30 AM and from 10-1 last night-- on top of his regular 8+ hour days. Today Roger and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary so we both took a much needed day off. We woke up and got some coffee before making crepes topped with Nutella and bananas- reminiscent of our Valentine's day in Paris. After breakfast we went to a fantastic used book store and some thrift shops on the west side of town. We finished out the night at the Verizon store getting Roger a much needed new phone and then dinner of Sushi. It was a super low-key day and we both feel refreshed and ready to take on the world again :)
This past weekend we went out for a few hours for coffee and ice cream and I used it as an excuse to dress up a bit- any incentive to get out of my pj's is good enough for me! Plus, it was an excuse to test out my new camera and lens a bit more.
Oh, and here is a test shot photo bomb- thanks Roger.
